In the framework of academic cooperation between Algeria and Quebec, a delegation from the Algiers’ University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB) will be in Canada to meet with UQAM officials, during the period from 18 to April 21, 2011.

The Delegation of the USTHB University is composed of the Vice-Dean for External Relations and Cooperation, The Dean’s advisor, the Dean and professors of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Town Planning.

The objective of this mission is to establish a partnership schedule in the fields of urban studies and tourism, planning, geology and geophysics.

Meetings will be held with academic officials and UQAM professors and a cooperative agreement will be signed on this occasion.
