Algeria's Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Smail Benamara was received in audience on Thursday, March 20th, 2008, by His Excellency Mister Jean Charest, Prime Minister of Quebec.

The talks focused mainly on the state and the perspectives of Algerian-Quebecer cooperation in its multiples dimensions as well as on subjects of common interest.

During the visit, the Ambassador was also received by Mrs. Monique Gagnon-Tremblay, Minister of International Relations and Mr. Normand Bergeron, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Natural Resources.
